He brings extensive experience across technology and financial services, including financial risk, regulation and compliance, alongside research into artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Damian Ruck
Chief research scientist and co-founder
Damian leads Advai’s research into AI safety and security, developing approaches to AI evaluation and assurance. He has an extensive research background in machine learning and computational social science and holds a PhD in Complex Systems from the University of Bristol.
